Fidelis Olafusi is a Chartered Accountant with over 40 years of professional experience across the private and public sectors. A graduate of the University of Lagos, he is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA) and the Chartered Association of Certified Corporate Accountants, U.K. (FCCA), as well as an Associate of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants, U.K. (ACMA).

He has held senior leadership roles, including Deputy Director of Finance and Administration at the National Provident Fund, before establishing and managing his own professional practice in Lagos for more than three decades. In recognition of his service and commitment, he was invested as a Knight of Saint Sylvester the Pope by Pope Benedict XVI in 2007. He is married with children and currently resides in the United States.
